I’m off to The QCon Conference tomorrow to help man the Microsoft stand.

We’ve built a couple of interesting web sites:

ukinterop.cloudapp.net – A Java / Restlet web site running on Windows Azure and
rubyukinterop.cloudapp.net – A Ruby on Rails site (Work in Progress!)

Both these apps use azurerunme.codeplex.com which makes it easy to run third party languages and technologies on Windows Azure.

On Friday I’ve been invited to join Microsoft’s Simon Davies and Simon Thurman for The Interoperable Platform session. I’ll talk a bit more about how we built the apps.
