I’ve just been doing some preparation for a lecture I’m giving next week.

One of the demo’s is a mash up that takes data from the U.S. Geological Survey Earthquake Hazards Program in XML. It runs a simple clustering algorithm and overlays the data on a map using the Microsoft Bing Maps API.

It’s a demo that I’ve been doing for a couple of years, but this time the results were more shocking..
