L Sharp Version 2 Coming Soon

It’s been a while, but I’m working on L Sharp again! I hope to have a version 2 beta released by Christmas 2008. Here are some highlights ..

Major rewrite which exploits .NET Framework 3.5.
New liberal license terms – Probably BSD or Perl Artistic.
Much Faster! Compiles to LINQ Expression trees (and from there to IL).
Breaks compatibility with version 1 in favour of closer alignment with Paul Graham’s Arc language.
Dot notation for .NET calls (console.writeline “Hello World”).
Smaller, better structured, more extensible code base.
